Below are examples of what can be done to improve the quality of photographs by removing unwanted items in the background, replacing backgrounds altogether, repairing blemishes, etc.
In this example, the two images of the horse were color corrected, the dirt smudges were removed and the horse was cut out and put into a new image with other background images to create a nice composite photo to be used in an advertisement.
Here the horse was removed and put onto a more pleasing background, still somewhat within the
correct proportions, so as not to look too
out of place.
The panel in the background along with the horse manure is unattractive, to say the least, so it was removed.
The unsightly halter and lead rope were removed and the background was altered to distract less from the subject. The image was torn and scratched, so we repaired the damage and lightened the image slightly.
